Wig Care Guide

Human hair lasts longest with gentle, consistent care. Damage from improper care is not a manufacturing defect, so these steps protect your hair and your investment.

Washing

  • Wash every 7–10 wears, or when product builds up.
  • Detangle gently before washing, starting at the ends and working up to the roots.
  • Use lukewarm or cool water with a sulfate-free shampoo and moisturizing conditioner. Keep conditioner away from the lace and knots.
  • Do not rub or twist the hair. Squeeze out water with a towel.
  • Air-dry on a wig stand, away from direct heat.

Curly and wavy textures

  • Do not brush curls when dry. Finger-detangle or use a wide-tooth comb on damp hair with leave-in conditioner.
  • Refresh curls with water and a light leave-in; avoid heavy oils at the roots.

Heat styling

  • Always use a heat protectant.
  • Use the lowest effective temperature and avoid repeated passes over the same section.

Color and chemical services

Human hair can be colored, but coloring, bleaching and other chemical services should be done by a professional stylist. Chemically altered products are not eligible for defect claims.

Lace care

  • Remove adhesives with a remover made for lace — never pull the lace off.
  • Handle the lace and hairline gently; this is the most delicate part of the unit.
  • If you use adhesives, do a patch test first and consider professional installation.

Storage and sleep

  • Store on a wig stand or in a satin bag, away from sunlight and humidity.
  • Sleep in a satin scarf or bonnet, or remove your wig overnight.
